Skola, skolotājs, skolēns Latgalē, 1920-1924: latviešu izglītības iestāžu izveide un darbība

Abstract

Maģistra darbs „Skola, skolotājs, skolēns Latgalē, 1920 – 1924 : latviešu izglītības iestāžu izveide un darbība” veltīts izglītības vēsturei Latgalē 20. gadsimta 20. gadu sākumā, apskatot to no sociālās vēstures puses. Pētījuma mērķis ir raksturot skolu mācību apstākļus, izpētīt skolotāju materiālo nodrošinājumu un pedagogu sabiedrisko darbību, kā arī skaidrot cēloņus augstajam ārpus skolas esošo skolēnu skaitam. Pētījumā raksturota izglītības iestāžu darbība, tuvāk aplūkojot skolu mācību apstākļus, apskatīts skolotāju materiālā nodrošinājuma un labklājības līmenis, kā arī pedagogu sabiedriskās darbības izpausmes un to nozīme, bet darba noslēgumā uzmanība pievērsta ārpus skolas eošo bērnu skaita problēmai un tās iemesliem, kā arī bērnu vecāku lomai audzināšanas procesā un to atstātās ietekmes sekām uz bērnu izglītību un attīstību.

The research “School, teacher, pupil in Latgale, 1920-1924: the founding and development of Latvian educational institutions” is dedicated to the history of education in Latgale in early 20’s of the 20th century, looking at it from the social history side. The goal of the research is to describe school learning conditions, explore teacher’s material provision and social activities as well as explain reasons of the high number of students outside the school. The paper describes functioning conditions of the schools, views material provision and the level of welfare of teachers as well as teacher’s social behaviour forms and their role, but the conclusion of the paper focuses on the problem of out of school children and its causes as well as the role of parents in upbringing and educational process.
