Bakalaura darba mērķis ir izpētīt meitas attēlojumu Ludzas igauņu pasakās. Pētāmais objekts ir Guntara Godiņa tulkotās Ludzas igauņu pasakas no grāmatas „Ludzas igauņu pasakas”, kurās kā varone figurē meita. Darba pamatuzdevumi bija analizēt meitas aprakstu un rīcību dažādos pasaku sižetos, izpētīt meitas lomu un statusu sabiedrībā. Lai iegūtu lielāku priekšstatu par pasaku tēliem un motīviem folklorā Latgales teritorijā, Ludzas igauņu meitas tēls tika salīdzināts ar dēla tēlu, kā arī ar meitu latgaliešu pasakās. Darba izstrādes gaitā tiek secināts, ka meita tiek attēlota gan kā pozitīvs, gan negatīvs tēls, viņa bieži tiek pakļauta vardarbībai vai pati ir nežēlīga. Tiek secināts, ka Ludzas igauņu pasaku sižeti bieži vien vairāk līdzinās šausmu stāstiem, nevis pasakām to klasiskajā izpratnē. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to study the representation of a daughter in fairy tales by Ludza Estonians. The object of study is the fairy tales from the book „Ludzas igauņu pasakas”, translated by Guntars Godiņš, in which a daughter is depicted. The main tasks of the work were to analyze the daughter's description and actions in various fairy tale stories, to study the daughter's role and status in society. In order to get a better idea of the fairy tale characters and motifs in the folklore of Latgale, the image of the daughter from Ludza fairy tales was compared with the image of the son in Ludza fairy tales, as well as with the daughter in Latgalian fairy tales. In the course of the work, it is concluded that the daughter is portrayed as both a positive and a negative character, she is often subjected to violence or is cruel herself. It is concluded that the plots of Estonian fairy tales from Ludza often resemble horror stories rather than fairy tales in their classical sense.
