Radzenes parametru ietekme uz mīksto un cieto kontaktlēcu centrēšanos

Abstract

Maģistra darbs ir uzrakstīts angļu valodā uz 59 lappusēm. Tajā ir 24 attēli, 13 tabulas un 31 atsauce. Mērķis bija novērtēt radzenes parametru ietekmi uz mīksto un cieto gāzi caurlaidīgo kontaktlēcu piemērotību. Šajā pētījumā piedalījās divdesmit subjekti vecumā no 20 līdz 35 gadiem ar divām etniskajām grupām. Pētījumā galvenā uzmanība tika pievērsta radzenes parametriem, kas tika izmērīti ar trim instrumentiem pirms kontaktlēcas izvēles, un, pamatojoties uz parametru mērījumiem, tika novērota kontaktlēcu atbilstība. Videokeratoskopija ir instruments, ko izmanto, lai pārbaudītu kontaktlēcu piemērotību un kustību. Statistiskā analīze parādīja dažus parametrus ar pozitīvu korelāciju ar mīksto un RGP lēcu pielāgošanu. Radzenes parametri tika novērtēti, izmantojot autorefraktometru, viļņu frontes analizatoru un topogrāfiju. Topogrāfijas mērījumos bija nelielas atšķirības. Salīdzinot ar Āzijas un Kaukāza etniskajām grupām, nav būtiskas atšķirības vidējos rādītājos.

The Master Thesis is written in English on 59 pages. It contains 24 figures, 13 tables and 31 references. The aim was to evaluate the effect of corneal parameters in Soft and Rigid Gas Permeable contact lens fit. Twenty subjects who aged between 20-35 years with two ethnicities were participated in this study. The study was focused on the corneal parameters measured with three instruments before choosing the contact lens and based on the parameter measurements contact lens fit was observed. Videokeratoscopy is the tool used for checking the fit and movement of contact lens. Statistical analysis showed some parameters with positive correlation with the Soft and RGP lens fitting. The corneal parameters were assessed using Autorefractometer, wavefront analyzer, and topography. The topography measurements exhibited minor variations. When comparing with Asian and Caucasian ethnicities, there is not a significant difference in mean averages.
