Vietas izjūta un dzīvesvietas kvalitātes novērtējums Ķekavas pilsētā

Abstract

Iedzīvotāju dzīvesvietas izjūta un apmierinātība ar kopējo dzīvesvietas kvalitāti ir nozīmīgi koncepti, kas skaidro iedzīvotāju identificēšanos un piederību kādai konkrētai teritorijai. Vietas izjūta var būt atkarīga no tās demogrāfiskā, sociāli ekonomiskā u.c. veida raksturiezīmēm, kas attiecīgi tālāk ietekmē apmierinātību ar dzīvesvietas kvalitāti. Bakalaura darba “Vietas izjūta un dzīvesvietas kvalitātes novērtējums Ķekavas pilsētā” mērķis ir izvērtēt Ķekavas pilsētas iedzīvotāju apmierinātību ar dzīvesvietas kvalitāti saistībā ar to vietas izjūtu. Ņemot vērā, ka Ķekavas teritorija nesen tika atzīta par pilsētu, ir svarīgi izpētīt iedzīvotāju dzīvesvietas apmierinātību saistībā ar dažādiem dzīves aspektiem, tos salīdzinot ar iedzīvotāju vietas uztveri. Darba teorētiskajā ietvarā tiek aprakstīts vietas izjūtas koncepts un dzīvesvietas kvalitātes jēdziens, kā arī dzīvesvietas kvalitātes izpēte Latvijā (1.-3. nodaļa). Darba 4. nodaļā veikts Ķekavas pilsētas ģeogrāfiskais raksturojums un aprakstīts iedzīvotāju sastāvs. 5. nodaļā veikts darba metodoloģijas un izmantoto materiālu izklāsts, kamēr galvenie rezultāti atrodami 6. un 7. nodaļā, kur tiek skaidrotas Ķekavas dzīvesvietas kvalitātes un vietas uztveres atsevišķās un kopējās iezīmes. Sense of place and residential satisfaction with life quality are important concepts, that usually can explain residential sense of place and identification of a particular area. The sense of place may depend on its demographic, socio-economic etc. characteristics, which consequently affect further residential satisfaction with the quality of life and living space. The Bachelor’s thesis “Sense of place and residental satisfaction in the Ķekava town” aims to assess the residential satisfaction of Ķekava town residents and the quality of life in relation to their sense of place. Given that, the Ķekava area was recently recognised as a city, it is important to study the residential satisfaction of different life domains in relation to their sense of place. In the theoretical part of the Bachelor’s work the concept of the sense of place and the concept residential satisfaction are described, as well as the study of of the life quality in Latvia (chapters 1-3). Chapter 4 describes the geographical and population composition characteristics of the Ķekava city. Chapter 5 explains the materials and methodology used in the thesis. Chapter 6 and 7 evaluate the patterns of residential satisfaction and sense of place, accordingly. The latter also analyses relation of both concepts within the Ķekava town.
