Abstract

Mākslīgais intelekts ir revolucionizējis satura radīšanu, demonstrējot nepārspējamas spējas ģenerēt tekstu, attēlus, video un mūziku. Šī strauji progresējošā tehnoloģija rada gan vēl nebijušas iespējas, gan sarežģītus izaicinājumus attiecībā uz vārda brīvību un atbildību par mākslīgā intelekta radīto saturu. Maģistra darbā “Mākslīgā intelekta tiesības uz vārda brīvību un atbildība par tā radīto saturu” tiek pētīta mākslīgā intelekta loma vārda brīvības jomā. Konkrētāk, autore iedziļinās mākslīgā intelekta izmantošanā satura radīšanai tiešsaistē un ar tā radīto saturu saistīto atbildību, īpašu uzmanību pievēršot naida runas gadījumiem sociālajos medijos. This rapidly advancing technology creates both unprecedented opportunities and complex challenges for freedom of expression and responsibility for the content artificial intelligence produces. Master’s thesis “Artificial intelligence’s right to freedom of expression and responsibility for its generated content” explores the role of artificial intelligence in the realm of freedom of expression. Specifically, the author delves into the use of artificial intelligence for creating content online and the liability associated with its created content with a particular focus on instances of hate speech on social media. By analysing the liability of key stakeholders – the user, provider, and social media platform – when hate speech generated by artificial intelligence proliferates online, this master’s thesis aims to illuminate the legal implications of the use of artificial intelligence to create content.
