Intune pārvaldītas ierīces

Abstract

Bakalaura darba mērķis ir apskatīt Intune un tā darbību, un apskatīt iespējas, vai tas ir aizvietojums lokālajam aktīvajam direktorijam (AD). Tā kā Microsoft server tiek uzskatīta par novecojušu veidu kā pārvaldīt organizācijas lietotājus un ierīces, pēc paša Microsoft uzskatiem, ir vērtīgi apskatīt jaunākus risinājumus. Microsoft Intune ir daļa no Entra ID, kas ir aktīvais direktorijs mākonī, un tiek pasniegts kā nākotnes risinājums AD pārvaldībā. Darbā tiek apskatīts Intune, tā funkcijas un pārvaldība, kā arī citas iespējas, ko tas piedāvā. Tiek apskatīta organizācija, kurā Intune jau tiek izmantots, un kādus uzdevumus tas pilda.

The purpose of the bachelor’s thesis is to review Intune and its features, and to research whether it can serve as a replacement for on-premises Active Directory (AD). Since Microsoft Server is considered legacy software and an outdated way to manage organization’s users and devices according to Microsoft, it is important to explore newer solutions, Microsoft Intune is part of Entra ID, which is cloud-based Active Directory, and it is presented as the future solution for active directory management. This thesis examines Intune features and administration, as well as other functions it provides. It also looks at how Intune is being used in the organization and functions it performs there.
