Morālā kaitējuma nekonkrētība, tā individuālā daba un neiespējamība to objektīvi novērtēt naudā, rada problēmas gan tā izpratnē, gan tā kompensēšanā cietušajiem. Pētījums tika veikts, lai noskaidrotu kā un vai ir iespējams uzlabot morālā kaitējuma kompensēšanas mehānismu, lai ar to cietušie varētu saņemt objektīvi taisnīgākas kompensācijas. Pētījumā tika konstatētas nepilnības morālā kaitējuma kompensēšanas sistēmas praktiskajā pielietojumā, kā arī piedāvāti to iespējamie risinājumi un sniegta izvērsta morālā kaitējuma institūta analīze. The imprecision of the moral damage, its individual nature, and the impossibility of assessing it objectively in cash raise problems both within its meaning and in compensation for the victims. The study was conducted to see how and whether the compensation mechanism for moral damage could be improved so that victims could receive objectively fairer compensation. The study identified shortcomings in the practical application of the moral damage compensation system and proposed possible solutions, also providing a detailed analysis of the moral damage institute.
